Day 1
Arenal
We arrive at the San Jose airport and travel by private transfer to Costa Rica's premiere Adventure Zone - The Arenal Area. (Hotel: San Bosco) B
Day 2
Arenal 8:30 am: The adrenaline-packed Rio Toro explodes with a series of over 45 continuous class 3-4 rapids - you'll paddle 3 hours through unexplored, tropical wilderness in a deep canyon with waterfalls, exotic animals and tropical birds. It's all about teamwork as you and your Costa Rican river guides negotiate exciting rapids with names like Morning Coffee, Piña Colada and the Devil's Elbow - for your best day in Costa Rica! B,L
Day 3
Arenal 7:30 am: It's time for canyoneering so prepare to get wet! Our experienced guides put you into your safety harness and assist you down a series of over 8 amazing waterfalls that get gradually bigger and … BIGGER!
3:30 pm: We then head out on a nice walk through the forest to the base of the famous Arenal Volcano with a naturalist guide and later relax in the Baldí natural hot springs in the evening to do some lava viewing. B,L
Day 4
Monteverde 8:30 am: Enjoy a nice and easy horseback ride from La Fortuna along Lake Arenal to the town of Rio Chiquito and then we'll transport you to the beautiful town of Monteverde in the midst of the cloud forest. (Hotel: Atardecer) B
Day 5
Monteverde 7:30 am: The Sky Trek is Costa Rica's best zip line tour and it includes 2.3 km (1.5 mi.) of paths and eleven transversal cables which vary in length from 43 to 840 meters (131 to 2525 feet) with heights from 40 to 750 meters and total more than 3 km (2 mi.) in length. B
Day 6
Alajuela/San Jose 7:30 am: Guided morning hike in the cloud forest reserve.
1 pm: Leave for Alajuela/San Jose area
Time to head back to reality. Private transfer back to Alajuela, near the San Jose airport.
Day 7
