Adventure Outfitters was the first shop in Central Florida to cater to freedivers!  We carry a full line of freediving gear and spearguns from Omer, Salvimar, IST, and we are the ONLY retail outlet in the United States for the custom made HATCH AMERO Speargun!   We are happy to promote spearfishing in it's purest form: breath-holding, by sponsoring seminars, freedive charters, and sponsoring the freedive division of the largest spearfishing tournament in the world, the St. Petersburg Open as well as other local competitions! Our staff has competed in tournaments all over the world including the World Cup Invitational in La Paz Mexico.

There are other places around that call themselves the "Premier" freediving shop or claim to have "introduced" freediving to the area but it comes down to honesty and experience.   Freediving has the potential to be dangerous and should NOT be attempted without proper guidence and supervision.
