You obviously can't decide on who you choose for your Scuba certification from a website. Other area shops actually say they are the "ONLY" facilities owned and operated by divers which other than being completely false, is silly. With few exceptions most area shops are owned by very experienced divers and instructors. We set ourselves apart by being the only facility that offers ONLY Private Scuba Instruction! We also do the instruction ourselves and not through part-time contracted or "independent" instructors. Why Private Scuba Courses? There is never more than four students to a class. This insures you get the full attention of your instructor and a complete instructional and diving experience. Scuba diving involves the use and understanding of "life support" gear. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to completely understand every aspect of diving. We find that smaller class sizes enable us to spend the time you need so you never feel "left behind" in this important phase of your dive training. While these courses seem more expensive you will find more value in hours spent under direct instruction. Small classes also allow us to fit the course schedule to YOUR schedule! Days, Evenings, Weekends, as fast or as slow as YOU need. Basic Open Water Course This is the first important step in you underwater adventure and obviously the most important. The course requires SIX Classroom sessions that involve lectures, reviews, and testing. Two Pool sessions to review swimming skills and introduce skin diving and Scuba Skills and finally your Open Water Dives. The first in this set will be held in a fresh water spring and the final will be two saltwater dives. This course INCLUDES Nitrox Certification (Reg.$149), Certification Cards, Study materials, and use of BC, Regulators,Tanks and fills.
Semi-Private Instruction $450 per person Nitrox Certification Course This eight hour course introduces you to Nitrox diving. The air you breathe contains about 21% Oxygen and about 79% Nitrogen. While this seems to be the best gas to sustain us on the surface it isn't necessarily the best thing to breathe underwater. By simply increasing the amount of oxygen we can almost double the dive times. Nitrox is NOT a deep diving or "technical" gas. Course fees include text, study materials and certification card. Course fee is $149 per person
Specialty Courses and Advanced Certification We offer a number of "scuba specialties" including Recreational Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Navigation, Night and Limited Visibilty, and Cavern Diving. All of these courses apply toward an Advanced Certification that can be arranged on an individual basis. An Adventure OutfittersAdvanced Card means you are truly an EXPERIENCED ADVANCED Diver.
Technical Diving, Mixed Gas, Deep Wreck, and Cave Certifications Available on an individual basis.
