Gilf Laurente Barrera  South America Guide Gilf is an official guide certified by the government of Peru specializing in the Huayhuash Mountain Range and Cordillera Blanca and he is the lead guide of our Inca Trail Treks. He is a past president of the Official Guides in Ancash Peru and has worked with an N.G.O promoting sustainable tourism in Huascaran National Park. Gilf is an experienced mountaineer with climbs of Pisco, Ishinca, Tocllaraju and many other "trekking" peaks. Gilf is officially our man in South America. He is proud of his Quechuan ancestry and is always available to teach a few words of Quechua.

Experience counts, pure and simple. We aren't the only Gear Shop in Florida, nor are we the only place for Scuba Instruction, or the only place to go for Adventure Travel. We are however proud to be the most diverse and experienced shop to offer all of these things and more. We pride ourselves on our Staffs experience. So excuse us if we "blow our own horn" on this page a little.
